The bus stop is about 400 meters from the CP, near the well-stocked village shop.

There is nothing to do in the village, but you can take the bus to Thale and Quedlinburg. The service features are somewhat complicated but work well. Bread can be ordered at the reception, while there is also a small shop in the village.
