Perfect campsite for exploring the Bastei. Simply choose your spot and pay at reception. Very friendly and helpful owners. Sanitary facilities with a coded door; showers require tokens, which are charged separately. With the guest card, you can take the bus to the Bastei for free, or you can walk there in about 20 minutes. The pitches are a bit uneven, but this isn't a problem with good leveling blocks.

Lovely place. Centrally located in relation to many beautiful cycling and walking routes. And the welcome and further contact with the manager, 'the aforementioned grey lady', was extremely friendly. This is contrary to what is stated in many reviews.

Have the owners ever considered being guests? They are completely unsuitable as operators and an absolute disgrace! Stay away! Unacceptable!
