Knaus Campingpark Auensee

The camping is too expensive. Large places but is like a field of turnips with much too high grass. Long walk to toilet and shower. Asked if we could stand closer to the toilet but that was not possible or they did not want it. The places remained empty. The road to the camping needs to be repaired badly, terrible big holes.

I can only confirm the previous reviews: nice pitches and good connections to the city. The downside is the pricing. €96.00 for 2 nights including electricity, plus €7.50 for some kind of tax. They wanted another €4.00 for the Wi-Fi password. That's crossing the line into rip-off. It's also a shame for the friendly receptionist who has to pass this pricing on to the astonished customers.

Beautifully located campsite. Everything a camper needs is there. Only the price for an overnight stay is a joke. We were shocked when we heard the price: €96 for two nights plus €6 tourist tax. It included electricity, but it was a total rip-off.
