Wasserplatz Pirna

It's actually quite a nice spot, right on the Elbe River. Unfortunately, there's not much going on on the Elbe anymore, and when we parked there, there was absolutely nothing. This campsite is the owner's second business, which will increasingly become the main focus. The pitches are arranged in a herringbone pattern on good old concrete slabs used for tank roads, and you can roll out your awning in front of them and relax.

We had booked spot 29 in the front row, the last spot!!! in the front row. When we arrived, there was a motorhome partially parked behind us in our booked spot!!! It was no longer possible to extend the awning. After consulting the rude operator, we were told that the marked layout of this spot was incorrect, and if it didn't suit us, we could leave. We were very happy to do so.

Beautiful spot, even in the second row. Peace and quiet. Sanitary facilities are neat, but indeed a bit limited. Pirna is within walking/cycling distance. All in all, highly recommended.
