We stood here for a week and could hike to many new places. The place will be temporarily closed from November 2023. It will be expanded to 110 parking spaces, new sanitary facilities and a restaurant will be built. Reopening from April 2025, then in year-round operation.
Highly recommended given the location and the friendly owner. We were here for six days and were never bored for a moment. Great starting point for walks and cycle tours, including to Bastei, Konigstein, Bad Schandau and the Elberadweg. The owner has expansion plans; the number of places will be increased from 35 to 105. The sanitary building will be renovated so that it can also be used in winter.
