Dünen-Camping Sylt

The surface is made of cheap recycled gravel, with stones up to 5 cm thick now eroding. For two years, the potholes have been getting longer, wider, and, above all, deeper. A sign at the entrance stating "This site is being renovated" is a joke. The parking spaces are small, and if your neighbor parks on the edge of the lawn, they're even smaller. The reception staff are positive.

Not too big comfort campsite, everything you need. Sanitary facilities clean and modern. Nice staff. Restaurant and corner shop available. Surfer spot and rental. Good access to the beach. Star deducted because WiFi is only available for a fee. Otherwise price-performance ratio for Sylt is reasonable.

Since my last visit in 2018 and a change of operator, I have felt a significant improvement in quality on the pitch. The friendliness of the Lord when we registered couldn't be topped. Unfortunately, I can't give it 5 stars yet, because a lot still needs to be done on the pitch itself. A good new asphalting of the access roads would be a good start. I wish for pitches with direct water and electricity connections for 2023!
