The staff is very friendly. However, the campsite is not recommended in rainy/wet conditions, unless you enjoy getting stuck in the mud. Strange men opened the women's restroom with a credit card (!) at night.

The site and the surrounding area are absolutely worth it. We've been here 10 times in 17 years. We recently asked to stay a fourth night because my husband had overexerted himself on an excursion. His knee hurt so much that he didn't want to get behind the wheel and needed a day to rest. The people at the bathing bay refused. They threatened us with eviction and a €10,000 fine if we didn't leave. The site was half full. Wedel - not us anymore!
