Camping-Oase Wahlhausen

Had a beautiful spot on the Werra. Sanitary facilities were fine, unfortunately the restaurant was closed because there were no staff. Nice cycling. Too bad about those trains on the other side, they make quite a bit of noise. Still able to sleep well.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our small camper, right on the Werra River. Beautiful view. On the other bank there is a railway line and a road, but we slept well there at night. Excellent sanitary facilities, laundry and rinse room available. Terrace available, coffee/cake/beer too and you can buy simple but excellent meals there (closed on Mondays). €23 paid incl. electricity, with Acsi card. Beautiful cycling opportunities, the border museum 1.5 km.
