We are the ideal stopover on the way south or north - in the middle of Germany between Rennsteig and Rhön, whether for one night or for a whole week. We are very conveniently located and only 5 kilometers from the A71 (Meiningen Nord exit) or 10 kilometers from the Suhl Zentrum motorway exit on the A73. If you are "just" looking for a place to relax, you have come to the right place. And if you don't feel like preparing your own breakfast, the neighboring Hotel Der Distelhof garni offers a delicious breakfast, of course, if you order in advance. Our pitches are not only ideal as a stopover, but also offer the option of exploring the immediate and nearby surroundings, whether on foot, by bike or by public transport. (Theater and castle town of Meiningen, half-timbered and nougat town of Schmalkalden, hunting and sporting weapons town of Suhl - also known as the birthplace of Simson) to name just a few.
