Campingplatz Erfurt am See

What an unfriendly welcome from a surly woman in the smoky café. No reservation, no seat.

We received a very warm welcome, paid a deposit, and received a key (for the gate). The groundskeeper even gave us tips on how best to get into town. We had a spot right on the lake, with a beautiful view and peace and quiet. The restrooms were a bit older but very clean. Checking out was also seamless; we'll definitely be back. It was wonderful!

Nice reception! Good explanation about the sanitary facilities, €0.50 to shower (enough time to shower) and very clean. Excellent restaurant with local dishes. The 2 Gaby's do a good job, offer service and the gentleman of the campsite (I have forgotten the name) was very nice and he was also service-oriented. At and in the beer garden a beautiful view.
