The police forbade stopping and staying overnight because it is an archaeological site. For this reason they come almost every day and write a fine of €300

The tunnel is higher than 2.40. We fit through with our 2.65 panel van! - The bay is great, but: At one end it is very full with German camper vans, among others. At the other end we were alone and after 3 hours there were 9 other campers from RO, I, PL, SRB, etc. We find it very crowded here.

Information
At the end of Trani Ammouda beach is big beach. Far away from buildings and road. Short dirt road to the beach where a lot of campers are parked. During season police is monitoring beach, but no problems. Camping behaviour is still not allowed
