Camping Pap-sziget

A very rustic, nature-oriented campsite. It has everything you need, even for very large motorhomes. Just ignore the 3.5t weight limit on the road; the campsite is immediately on the right after that. This limit only applies to the road beyond. The facilities take me back to my youth; it's like a summer camp. Card payments aren't accepted, but Euros are. Getting to the city by train or bike is easily manageable.

Very nice campsite, suitable for visiting Budapest. The friendly older lady at the reception speaks Dutch and gave excellent information about public transport. The bus stops 100 m from the campsite. Spar 500 m. In high season it must be busy here, given the facilities: swimming pool, Danube beach, restaurant etc. We were there in mid-May with a maximum of 4 couples. The sanitary facilities are old, but well maintained and clean.

Campsite close to the beautiful center of Szentendre, 5 minutes by bike. Lovely shady spots. sanitary facilities outdated but clean. Nice large swimming pools. Spar 100 m away. Friendly ladies at reception. Albert and Hennie
