An amazing campsite surrounded by mountains and trees. In the summer you can rent a boat on the small lake. Next to a beautiful forest with hiking paths all year, grill areas, play areas. The best campsite in Iceland.

large campsite with good facilities. all fields were open and there are good facilities. just like on other campsites it gets busy from 8 pm with small vans and small tents. make sure you have a spot before then otherwise the spots with electricity are gone. in high season this applies to many campsites near attractions. On this campsite there was enough space.

Large site but grass pitches still closed in mid May. The hard standing is also public parking and is the meeting place for several activities so space is limited until it finishes. Three facilities across the site and the one at the far side is the best. Entry is by internet but if the gatekeeper is around you can pay direct.
