You can only get here with a 4x4 and quite a few hours of driving on mountain tracks. Good facilities and helpful staff. The site is situated next to one of the river crossings on F26 and the ranger was happy to give advice regarding the depth of water at this and the next crossing and the suitability of your vehicle for the crossing.
Information
Simple motorhome in the middle of Iceland. All the basic facilities there are no empty places but if you are here you understand that. Water, WC, refilling the shower, cassette emptying is all possible.
