Camping Varmahlíð

Great location with nice bathrooms, but I don't understand the sometimes negative reviews. This is exactly what we campers are looking for. No reception, but all the amenities and wonderfully quiet. Gas station, supermarket, restaurant within walking distance, and a swimming pool nearby. We had great weather and enjoyed the view.

As a warning for people using this site, then most information on this site is wrong. Even the name of the camsite. Information is either very old or simply completely wrong. Kind regards Owner

Great campsite heated showers and toilets as everywhere in Iceland there are too few but are excellently maintained chemical toilet emptying is fine grey water emptying is more difficult not easy to get there with the camper otherwise a great campsite supermarket within walking distance electricity is also well arranged
