Distillery Road Car Park

There are few places long enough for a camper. So you have to be lucky. Excellent position, quiet night. Water and chemical toilet disposal available. Nothing else but free. Perfect for visiting the distillery.

Dedicated motorhome parking within a mixed parking area in town centre, spaces for motorhomes taken by cars on our arrival but they soon left and freed up space. Quiet overnight, very busy with cars by 10am next morning, tight to get out of parking place as parking bays aren’t that large for a motorhome to manoeuvre. Toilet emptying & water tap but unsure on grey drain? 4 other vans on our stay.

The data indicates that it would be up to 8 m for campers, given that it is a normal parking lot, the length is only 5 m. We crossed dangerously over the front with 7.5 m, while the back overhanged 1.8 m up to the wall. Moreover, parked cars appear in between, despite the fact that the site was otherwise empty on Sunday. By law, products cannot be purchased from the distillery on Sundays before 12:30 p.m.
