Beautiful spot. We were the only ones parked on a night in mid October. No amenities this is literally a gravel car park for Downpatrick Head. Worth a visit even if you don’t stay on. Small single lane access road.

October 2019 July 2019 Great large parking / parking space at the cliffs of Downpatrick Head. During the day, especially on Sundays, a lot of business. Quiet at night, only the rushing surf. Recommended place however without V / E. Access about 2km single lane.
May 2019 A really nice place to spend the night. Nice walk to the clif and statue of St. Patrick. There are also 2 picnic tables. In the tourist season there are also car crackers active according to police who just came to chat. But that is everywhere! So do not leave any items unattended when you go hiking. But really pergecte place. No facilities.
