wake up to the ducks on the river. yes, some people walking by but no one bothered us and many greeted us pleasantly as they passed. lovely Italian Cafe just by the river- Taste of Italy for a light breakfast or lunch. fresh baked pastries - yum!

at first it was a bit busy with cars parked and people coming and going but in the evening it was quite. Morning, was calm and had swans and ducks swimming infront of us which was great. Walking distance are pubs, groceries etc Don’t forget to pay the parking fee.

Plan a maneuver to return. Slightly sloping parking lot if you don't park along the river. No special camper place. If you are leaving in the morning, plan to leave early as cars come to park and it becomes more difficult to maneuver out. Paid parking just the day.

Place along the Avoca river - 3 euros per day - Pay from 10 am to 1800 pm - You will get there by driving through the Bandstand Carpark to the river - PLEASE NOTE. There is a street in the back right from the carpark to the river - coordinates are from the riverwalk - on the outskirts of town
