Area Sosta Camper Cariati Marina

A very nice, quiet campsite. The toilet and shower block is new and clean. We've been here for four weeks and are very happy. There's a large supermarket, a bakery, and a wine shop within a five-minute walk. The town and its historic old town, dating back to the 15th century, are well worth seeing and can be explored on foot. There are some good bars, cafes, and restaurants. A beautiful hiking area and a great beach are also nearby.

Great reception. The restrooms are excellent and kept clean. The sea is 300 meters away, and we had a wonderful swim. The next morning at 8:00 a.m., we heard the hum of machinery. Out of bed: yes, no wonder, a group of about 10 people, a tractor, and a large vibratory machine were harvesting olives. It was beautiful to see. Dragging nets, gathering the olives, and then loading them into crates. Around 11:00 a.m., it was all over. After that, we cycled about 25 km along the coast. 2 nights, €20.

Excellent, Beautiful location close to the beach and promenade with restaurants. All amenities are available, even a washing machine. Roberto is incredibly friendly and helpful; you call or text him and he's right there. The Wi-Fi is excellent, and the pitches are spacious and shaded, nestled in an old olive grove. The train passes by but it's not a nuisance; you can hear the road traffic outside, but not inside the camper. We will definitely be back.
