Camperopoli

Very basic. Bologna city center is easily accessible. Friendly manager. That's all there is to it.

I'm only giving this star because the site is close to town. There's only one portable toilet there. If you arrive with a larger RV, you'll be charged €10 more, so €35 instead of €25. Then you can just go to the campsite. We won't be back.

Great campervan spot. Parking against the row of trees provides shade. As mentioned before, it's easy to get to the city by bus, with friendly staff and good information for sightseeing. Bologna is truly beautiful; we took a tour on one of those little trains. It's worth it; you hear more and see more afterward. We found this a much better option than the city campsite. We were quite pleased with the plane. We didn't see a portable toilet.
