Parcheggio Parco di Monte Sole

Unfortunately on May 1st, national holiday, a huge crowd and impossible to park. We had no choice but to drive on to Silla.

quiet place surrounded by nature! we spent the night here and the next morning we took a walk to the ruins of the church of San Martino. these places have an important history and are worth visiting.

It's a beautiful place. Please note that you do not take the railway tunnel but the exit 50 m earlier. The road up is very steep and narrow. We would have preferred not to do it after being frightened by an oncoming car coming fast around the bend. The entrances to the highway are currently all closed due to work. We had to make a far detour to continue our journey.
