Camping Village Porticciolo

A campsite with friendly staff. You're pitched under trees and have direct access to the lake. Some of the restrooms have been renovated. There's a bus (with a stop at the campsite access road) to Bracciano and a train to Rome. The timetable is clearly explained. The path to the town has been washed away and is partly overgrown.

We were helped by a friendly young man. He explained everything well to us about going to Rome by bus/train. There are also signs with clear Dutch explanations (take a photo of that). Cycled along the lake on Sunday, a lot of traffic, and a bad road, but nice in the towns (cycle clockwise). We stayed 4 nights.

Four stars because it is a wonderful place with tall trees, on the beautiful lake. The connection with Rome is also excellent and Bracciano worth it. But it's all a bit old-fashioned and 'piecemeal'. Received by friendly and helpful young man.
