We spent 4 nights at Agriturismo Quaranta Quattro at the end of April. We were received very warmly by Rens and Rachel after we inquired about a place that morning. R&R are full of stories and tips about the area. The campsite has about 15 places for tents/campers and is beautifully situated on a slope. a beautiful swimming pool, bar and seating areas in sun and shade. the Italian evening is highly recommended! the toilet building deserves a 10.
lees meerWhile looking for a place away from the coast, I accidentally came across this campsite. Friendly welcome with an immediate tip to get away before the bad weather arrives. This is due to the steep, somewhat difficult paths in combination with our slightly larger (6.5m) camper. The walk to the village is an attack on the calves, but certainly doable and worth it. Price is slightly higher than indicated in this app.

Good evening, We were also very surprised by the way you arrived and left. Just like me that I am now very surprised about this review. We are always very used to introducing ourselves when people arrive. Something I did now. Unfortunately, I noticed that this was different with you. I noticed a distant attitude, where you did not introduce yourself, but only asked for a place. You had not reserved and then it may indeed be that we do not have a place, which is why I looked in the system to see if we could move somewhere to create a place for you. Sometimes this just takes a few minutes. I noticed you weren't happy with the fact that we were full. When asked if we still had a campsite nearby, I advised you Tramonto Rosso and Villa Ti amo, just like the camper place at Abbadia di Fiastra. You then looked up Villa Valente yourself and the moment you saw that there was only 1 motorhome parking space, your reaction was "oh, that is of no use then". You left without saying goodbye. This is something that we have experienced little or no experience until now. Too bad it turned out this way. Hopefully you have found a nice place for the coming days. Greetings Rachel
