Area Sosta Camper Costa Verde

camping is nicely situated on the beach, but somewhat dilapidated. the facilities are fine but it takes a while before you have hot water to shower, but who cares about that for 0.50 euros. price-quality ratio is fine and the cycle route to Vasto is recommended. a steep climb to the old town.

Stayed at this campsite for the past 2 nights. Plus: beautiful beach, within cycling distance of Vasto (recommended). Minus: unfriendly approach, dilapidated, many cats, shower for 3 minutes for €0.50, of which the first 2 minutes of cold water in some showers 😒, no atmosphere at all. Costs with ACSI card €17.10 for 2p with camper. Well….

poorly maintained and in dilapidated condition. The sanitary facilities are severely substandard and cannot be used with larger campers (from 7m). Lots of owner's cats hanging around everywhere, even in the camper. Restaurant didn't look like much and luckily it was closed. Just ahead on the right in the street is an excellent fish restaurant. hence the two stars.
