To confirm previous review, overnight accommodation is possible without any problems. Access is easy despite our 9.39 mm length. Sciacca is a small town of about 41,000 inhabitants located on the southern coast of Sicily, whose urban area occupies an amphitheater overlooking the port and the coast. It is a tourist and spa destination, and above all an important fishing port, also known for its sumptuous carnival and its crafts.

Since the last review was so long ago, here's an update (March 28, 2025): This site still exists and offers easy parking and overnight accommodations at the harbor – just a few hundred meters from the stairs leading up to the truly picturesque old town. There are several options for parking at the harbor. Ideal for any self-sufficient camper who can do without waste disposal and water for a night or two.

we stayed here on a friday night. The grounds were used as a race track and acrobatics with souped-up scooters. including the noise. sorry about the sleep.
