Sept 29, 2026 Good city campsite. (with Gästekart for public transport) A half-hour walk (steep downhill) to the center of Merano. But you can take bus 221 back up.

Toilet block has been installed! Beautiful location between Meran and Tiroler Dorf. Really for active people. If you take the cable car up at Hochmuth, you can continue hiking in the mountains! The wellness pool in Meran is a nice place to relax your muscles. Public transport is free with the Tiroler guestcard, which you receive at the camper pitch.

First, the access road: vehicles up to 10 meters long are possible, provided there's space on pitch 1. Pitches 2 and 3 are narrow and only allow vehicles up to 8 meters long. Water is available at the pitches, with two ground-level drains. However, the high location also means that Merano is far below! Taking the bus and cable car or walking is more convenient than cycling. The restaurant has good dumplings. I can't comment on the sanitary facilities as I didn't use them. In any case, there are often queues.
