Our pitch is perfect for those who love being outdoors in nature and the mountains, yet still want a cozy atmosphere. Here at our mountain farm, you'll find plenty of nature, mountains, and water, all while enjoying a relaxed lounge feel. You'll have a sheltered spot exclusively for yourself. From your pitch, you'll see forests, meadows, and old apple trees. There's a nearby stream and a small waterfall. To your left, you'll see walnut trees and the Ultental mountains. Behind your pitch is a barn, and about 50 meters further up, above it, is our old wooden farmhouse where we live, so we're never far away if you need anything. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, and take walks in the forest or along the stream directly from your pitch. In spring and autumn, you can see the animals grazing in the pasture, walk to the nearby waterfall, and much more. We are a retired farm where things are usually quite peaceful, but we do have to work from time to time, for example, mowing meadows, bringing animals in from the pasture, chopping wood, etc. Our farm is located at almost 1,000 meters in the Ultental Valley, one of the most pristine valleys in South Tyrol, near Merano, and is easily accessible by public transport. There are many hiking and excursion opportunities in the Ultental and Trentino mountains and alpine pastures, or to Lana, Merano, Bolzano, and other destinations. You can take the cable car up to the Ultental alpine pastures, there's a swimming area in the Zoggler Reservoir, and there's a riding club. Cafes, restaurants, a pizzeria, and shops are located in the next village, 3 km away. Our calves, sheep, and goats are on the alpine pastures in the summer. Our chickens and cats are on the farm year-round. The farm also includes a herb and vegetable garden, a meadow with apple trees, pastures, and woods. An old farmer's saying goes: We should honor the old, teach the new, ward off evil, and increase the good. That's what we understand by sustainability, and it's a principle we've lived by on our farm for many generations. We'll be happy to welcome you again from February onwards ๐ค
