Camping Le Balze

Great campsite within walking distance (or by bus) to Volterra. Great pitches, good and clean sanitary facilities and laundry facilities. Our pitch was good, though there were mosquitoes. (where aren't there?) From one night, it turned into two.

The large pitches aren't that big. Our 7-meter camper fit just right. Other spots on the campsite might be bigger. The pool is clean but still very cold! The shower was wonderful though!

Neat, simple campsite with an excellent location for visiting the historic center of Volterra. There are sufficient and good sanitary facilities. There is plenty of shade thanks to the many trees.
