Trasimeno Glamping Resort

This campsite has a few lovely spots for campers right on the water. The rest are awfully small, and then you're faced with a fence behind which holidaymakers have rented glamping tents. Their view is gone! The roads are too narrow to maneuver a campervan. This isn't mentioned beforehand. We left quickly.

what a nice campsite this is, not many regular camping pitches but all by the lake. we were on the xxl pitch number 4 and even extended 2 x. beautiful very spacious pitch. reservations recommended. spotless, super friendly staff, good restaurant and own ice cream parlor. bread does not have to be ordered. Vespa and fiat 500 and electric step rental. swimming pool with many sun loungers. recommended cycling around the lake 64 km.

Forget all the old reviews. The site has been completely renovated. The sanitary facilities are now superbly modern and clean, if perhaps a little limited. Large pool. Child-friendly. Staff friendly and helpful, English spoken everywhere. Bar, restaurant. Got a spot right on the lake in May, but that will definitely change in the summer. €64 for 2 nights: RV, 2 people, tourist tax, electricity included.
