Gravel strips around the Auberge. Very quiet. Good restaurant. The pass is easily passable from both sides (7.5 x 3 m, for tall vehicles there is a key point with a rock overhang on the south side). However, the road surface is in a deplorable condition after the earthquake.
Top place, top welcome, top dinner, top breakfast. Mous is a huge good guest, warm, grateful, enthusiastic. Shower warm but a bit low pressure, only okay for the smaller man/woman 😉
I found the view and the friendliness of the caretaker excellent. Chilly wind and frost at night. Tricky to get there, but well worth it. Tasty omelette and salad by the fireplace. All together 17 euros. No shower requested. Toilet available.
