Buytenplaets Suydersee

We stayed a few nights with our camper at this lovely, quiet, green spot, filled with birdsong and almost tame robins. A warm welcome and great additional tips for days out in nature; we really enjoyed De Marker Wadden, the Silence Forest, and Lelystad National Park, which are hardly mentioned on the internet. The sanitary facilities are indeed dated, but fine and clean. The electricity was also fine, even though there were 5 campers parked there. Great!

We stayed here for one night with the camper. Upon arrival, there was a note on the door saying that unfortunately they could not be present that day, but that we could choose a spot ourselves. They were all very nice and cozy spots. The sanitary facilities were fine and looked neat. The entire campsite is surrounded by greenery, so we were right in the middle of the singing birds. In the evening, the manager came by. He asked if everything was to our liking. A great campsite.

It wasn't the manager's fault; they were extremely nice and helpful! There were 8 power points for campers, even though there is space for 10 campers—so we were unlucky enough to be number 9... with the help of the manager and a few emergency solutions, we eventually got power. The next day, the power kept cutting out at a regular power point—eventually we switched everything to gas. The sanitary facilities were really not clean and very outdated.
