Camping Leenstra

Review taking caravans into account. Location/swimming/fishing great. Sanitary facilities spotless but not used (camper). A lack of water taps, also for the caravans. For campers, there is (yet?) no grey water disposal point; tank must be filled with a watering can from the sanitary building. Friendly owners. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful campsite by the water, a great base for cycling trips. New sanitary facilities, but perhaps a bit limited when the campsite is full, though with a camper that is not a hindrance. Friendly welcome by the owner.

A lovely spot: view over the water with boats constantly passing by. Setting sun. Flock of starlings. Lovely. You can fish, paddleboard, etc. With a solid bottom 😂 no mud between the toes 🥴 Sanitary facilities were clean. 3.5 km from the supermarket & cozy spot in Langweer (great running route). What really struck me (after 3 weeks in Denmark/Germany) is that everyone is friendly. People greet you constantly 🙋
