Vissershaven [Tsjerk Hiddessluizen]

It's a lovely campervan site right on the harbor. You're right in the center of Harlingen. Registration is via a kiosk, so the time of arrival isn't a problem. There's a nice view of the harbor, which is always bustling with activity. We arrived around 4:00 PM, and there were three spaces left. Before we were fully settled in, it was full. We were there in September 2024.

Great location for a day trip to Harlingen. Delicious fish right by the CP. We had no problem with the payment terminal, but it's important to read carefully. The view over the water is fantastic. There's an asylum seekers' center nearby, and they walked past our camper until late at night.

Beautiful CP, but remember to park only in spots where you have a painted campervan in the parking space, otherwise you risk a fine. Harlingen is a very nice city to visit, though. We also discovered that our fire extinguisher was out of date... luckily, there's a fire safety agency at the harbor (JBB Brandbeveiliging) to the left of the CIV ship's shop, which is also very nice to visit.
