Camperplaats De Bouckhorst

Simple, quiet campsite. Shower, toilet, and cooking facilities are available. Very friendly hosts who speak German, English, and French. We will definitely visit again.

Camper site in the backyard of a former arable farm with a monumental farmhouse. Good and clean sanitary facilities and pitches with grass and greenery (partly still developing) around a paved courtyard. We were the only guests at the time, allowing us to enjoy the peace, the vastness of the landscape, the sea breeze, swallows, and the hospitality of the owners. It was our first introduction to this area and, to be honest, we had few expectations.

Great place to stay. Good facilities, which are necessary, such as a toilet, shower, and washing-up area. At least for us. Friendly owner who knows a lot about the history. The nice thing was that the Hoekse Waard plays a role in this area, where we come from. The parents who still participate as much as possible were also very nice. Definitely recommended. Knowing that there are still changes in the planning, but those need time.
