Hi, welcome to Re-Creatieoord de Hoogewaard in Winssen. A green nature campsite in the land of Maas en Waal. Don't expect a raked campsite, but a place where nature can take its course in a lush way.
At the Hoogewaard we don't stand with our heels in the sand, but with our feet in the clay! Make use of our mobile outdoor kitchens, communal campfire sites or go into the floodplains with one of our rental bikes. E-bikes are also possible.
At the Hoogewaard there are many fruit trees and a number of farm animals such as chickens, turkeys, goats and three Shetland ponies. There are also several wood and barn owls living there. For children there is a small playground with trampoline, swings and a slide.

I was here with children; the camping season hasn't started yet, so it's hard to judge, but we received a wonderful welcome. A wonderfully alternative and pristine, nothing is required, everything is allowed. Everything you need is there, but don't expect luxury; if that's what you're looking for, you're in the wrong place.
