Minicamping - Boerderij de IJsselhoeve

A lovely "farm" campsite for visiting Zwolle, Hattem, and Kampen. Sanitary facilities are excellent. Several fields, the largest of which is a nice flat lawn with fruit trees. The front is a bit cluttered, with a group building that's still unfinished. A downside during our visit was that due to the northwesterly wind, we were bothered by an ammonia smell coming from the adjacent farm.

Great campsite, friendly welcome. There are several pitches. Electricity is optional. Organic products (meat, vegetables, eggs) are available for purchase, with self-payment. In the evening, tent campers arrive even though the campsite is actually full. They still get a spot, which is great! The sanitary facilities are clean, despite the crowds. They are well-maintained by both the managers and guests. Great for kids too!

What a lovely campsite. Nice sanitary facilities and wonderfully quiet. Definitely one to come back to again. Also delicious meat from the local farmer for sale. Lamb and pork.
