Molecaten Park Landgoed Molecaten

We arrived here unannounced between 11:00 and 13:00. Even though reception was closed, we were allowed to call. It turned out there was a spot available, but a woman spoke so reproachfully to us that we moved on. It's been a long time since I've been spoken to so rudely, even though we were being polite. She said she was going to stop with "those camper guests"—this was the last year. So goodbye! Too bad, the place is so beautiful!

We stayed at this location for three days, a great campsite with friendly staff. The entrance to the pitch was a bit tight, but we eventually managed to get in without damaging the camper. The sanitary facilities were good, just a bit too few toilets for the number of pitches: two for men and three for women. Hot water was €0.10 per minute, which is perfectly fine.

We received a friendly and prompt welcome, and our absence in the evening wasn't a problem. We were back around 9:30 PM—provided we took it easy (Shure, with an old diesel ;-) )—no problem. Lovely pitches with plenty of shade, though there was some noise from the A28.
