Uncomplicated. Peaceful. It's a lovely place to take the dog for a walk and watch the ships on the Rhine. Cycling to Emmerich is also a great option. I'd love to come back again.

Lovely spot on the Rhine with a magnificent view over the water and the many passing boats. Good cycling opportunities. Dairy farm Hof Zum Walde (despite the name in the Netherlands) is highly recommended, for much more than just dairy products. One minor downside when we were there: noisy young people between 2 and 3 a.m. on Saturday night/Sunday morning who thought it was cool to shout Nazi slogans at the German fellow campers present. Well, what can you do...
