Camping 't Plathuis

A very nice, versatile campsite with good sanitary facilities. Everything was very clean. Unfortunately, the showers are coin-operated. The reception was very friendly, and all the necessary amenities were provided. We didn't try the natural bathing lake with its sandy beach; it didn't look so nice in September. There are plenty of pitches on the grass and campervan pitches on a firm surface. Ideal for cycling, hiking, and, of course, visiting the fortress.

Perfect for us for visiting the Bourtange fortress. I was able to book and pay for everything online and, upon arrival, drive straight through the barrier to my reserved pitch – very convenient and straightforward! Showers, fresh water, chemical toilet disposal, and grey water disposal were all available. The price of €20 including electricity for the gravel motorhome pitch was absolutely reasonable.
