Beautiful location by the boats in the marina, situated on a beautiful lake, all facilities (toilets and showers) available and well-maintained, all entrances coded, campsite is unfortunately often full … had a nice meal at Paviljoen De Leine, 15-minute drive to P+R Kardinger for a visit to Groningen.

We stayed at the campsite in Kropswolde by the marina for the first time over May Day. The campsite is very quiet and beautifully laid out, and the toilets and showers are very clean. You can take lovely bike rides around the lake or go to Groningen. We will definitely visit the campsite again. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, which makes the stay very pleasant.

great location… awkward to maneuver for campers over 7.40… convenient for going to Groningen by e-bike… need to factor in electricity because it's paid for separately… shame.
