The camper place has been around since 2002 and has been a great success from the start. My name is Erik Nijkamp and together with my wife Petra we take care of the camper place. It is located in a beautiful area and guests often stay longer than they planned in advance, purely because they have not yet had enough. So:

Noisy campground. Lots of noise from young people by the water until 1 a.m. Lots of Germans who then stand in a circle with a few campers and party until late at night. Where have the camper rules and supervision gone?

Great camper site. Excellent facilities. Beautifully situated on a large recreational lake. The kids had a blast at the beach.

A lovely campervan site in the beautiful Borgerswold region, with its stunning hiking and cycling routes. The campervan sites aren't marked, so some campers choose a large spot and others a smaller one. Veendam is a pleasant and peaceful town with all sorts of sights, shops, and restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food (even one just a stone's throw away). We will definitely return, if only for the recreation area. In short, highly recommended.
