Camperplaats Beesel aan de Maas

Beautiful spot. Lovely to let the dogs swim in the water just a 5-minute walk from the campsite. The scent of freshly mown hay and forest feels like a blanket of relaxation. A real holiday. Friendly owner. Clean toilets. We will definitely be back.

The Meuse is accessible on foot, though it is an hour's walk stink from the pig farmer across the way all day paid 38.50 via Campercontact and then another 15 euros for electricity total 53.50 for 2 nights paying on site is 30 euros all very strange and way too expensive for a bumpy field drove 2 hours for this disappointment the stench is unbearable and lots of flies

Lovely place to stay. We have already been 3 times and this is the fourth time. Always a nice owner, always clean sanitary facilities. Quiet, we sleep like a log. There is always something to do during the day, just sit back and enjoy the peace or cycle to Roermond, Kessel, Baarlo, Steyl, Venlo, Neer, Leudal, and cross the Maas river on the bicycle ferry. In the morning, we walk the dog in the woods bordering the campsite. The dog enjoys a swim in the water just a 5-minute walk from the campsite.
