Camping de Merel is located in North Limburg, in the village of Melderslo, within the municipality of Horst aan de Maas. The village is also known as the "blueberry village" because approximately a quarter of all blueberries in the Netherlands are grown here. We have several bushes on the campsite for you to pick. Rose, asparagus, and mushroom cultivation are also important to Melderslo.

Stayed for 2 nights, everything was simply amazing. Beautiful field, good wifi and plenty of sanitary facilities; everything looks perfect. Definitely recommended, we will come back again when we have more time. Keep up the good work.

We have never been received and guided so warmly as by the owner of this campsite. Large, well-maintained pitches with sufficient privacy, spacious, clean, and adequate sanitary facilities. Various activities are organized. Very beautiful surroundings for cycling and walking. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would love to return here.

Fantastic campsite! We stayed here for three days at the end of August with another couple. A warm welcome, excellent facilities. In short, a place to return to, as we're still looking forward to exploring the beautiful surroundings!
