Very peaceful location, very friendly staff, excellent sanitary facilities. For cycling and nature lovers: highly recommended: Brüggener Burchrunde. This route follows the Swalm river on the south side and returns via the Brachterwald. On September 5th, the heather was still in bloom, and the observation towers along the way are truly enjoyable. I even extended the route between junctions 97 and 62 with a 16 km loop along the winding Swalm: 07-91-61-87-63-60-62. There are some climbs involved!

September 1-4, 2025 Beautifully located nature campsite on the border with Germany/Brachter Wald, very friendly welcome, decent restrooms, easy access to water and sewage disposal, artificial turf in front of the exit, not particularly scenic, but clean for disembarkation, great surroundings, beautiful towns, good bike paths, €24 including tourist tax for 2 people with ACSI, washing machine €4.50
