Camping Amsterdam Gardens

Received a friendly welcome, someone walked with me to the pitch, and good service during the stay as well. A bit of a hippie vibe due to the reception and the layout of the field you stay on. My wish for peace and a view was granted. Toilets clean and plenty of them. A half-hour bike ride to the city center. Was not bothered by airplanes. A good base for a visit to Amsterdam. I will be back.

The location is nice, and the city is easily accessible by bus. Otherwise, it's very run-down. Not worth the money.

No designated pitches with numbers. There's something special about this. You immediately get the feeling of being near a big city. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly, though it can sometimes seem a bit chaotic. Many volunteers from all over Europe run the campsite. Fortunately, there's no noise from airplanes at night.
