We stayed at this beautiful spot for 6 days. The first day was a shock: no drain for the toilet, no grey water disposal point, and no outdoor tap to fill the water tank with a hose. Marleen did her utmost to find solutions. In the end, I emptied the toilet into the regular toilet, filled the water tank with a bucket under the shower, and collected the grey water in a tank and poured it into the toilet as well.

Beautiful private camper pitch near De Koog, a good base for walking and cycling. There is a covered area where you can sit and/or store bicycles. The sanitary facilities are attached to the owner's house, accessible via a narrow path through their garden.

We enjoyed having this wonderful spot all to ourselves. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Occasionally, people from the Forestry Commission would pass by to visit the duck decoy. This wasn't a problem at all; they were friendly and respectful of our peace and quiet. Marleen is a super sweet host, without being pushy. We received beautiful flowers at our farewell 🥰. You can buy delicious beers and soft drinks with a QR code. We'll definitely be back!
