Camping Zijm

Beautifully situated campsite on a quiet road, mostly cyclists. A 150-meter walk leads to dunes and pine forests, and there are lovely cycling routes nearby. Spacious pitches. One drawback is the poor drainage in the showers, so some maintenance is required. The sanitary facilities are reasonable.

Unfortunately, the owner was apparently on holiday and a replacement was not present. So a messy arrival. (if you know you are away, please let me know, I think) Sanitary facilities were dirty and old. It may be a snapshot, but if you pay you can expect something. Mow the grass if you know you will have guests. The environment is fine. Visited many farm campsites but this was really disappointing.

camping feels very messy. poorly maintained, e.g. tall grass and muddy entrance. too close to the farm. We were shocked given the price and expected better.
