Camperplaats Het Hoge Boekel

A fine, basic place; the available facilities are perfectly fine. Beautiful surroundings for cycling. This time we visited the city park in Gronau, Ikea in Hengelo, and the city of Oldenzaal by bike. We also bought meat from this farmer; it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

It’s probably all fine, but after emailing yesterday to make a reservation and being told there was still room, we arrived at a full camper site today and had to move on. According to the daughter, Mom always says there is space because supposedly a lot of people don't show up. A bit of a shame.

Stayed 6 nights to visit Enschede, Almelo, and Oldenzaal. Nice location, no nonsense, find your own spot. Shower/toilet clean and a beautiful area for cycling and walking.
