Easily accessible parking lot with camper spots along the sidewalk on the right; many of the campers are long-term parkers belonging to people living in Leuden. Excellent public toilet. The distance to the center is about a 15-minute walk, but shuttle buses run from 6:00 AM to midnight. Dog walking is on the other side of the railway tracks. Thank you, Leiden, for this beautiful spot.

Great location for a visit to Leiden. You can walk straight into the city center. Ideal. You can also make use of free transport. You pay nothing extra compared to a private car. You won't notice the adjacent railway line at all. It is a quiet place to stay overnight.

It's a shame there are so many complaints about the rate. The parking lot is practically in the middle of the city, a city where paid parking is in effect almost everywhere. Non-campers pay the same rate for a day.
