Jammer dat er zo geklaagd wordt over het tarief.  De parking is vrijwel midden in de stad, een stad waar vrijwel overal betaald parkeren geldt. Niet-campers betalen hetzelfde tarief voor een dag. 

It's a shame there are so many complaints about the rate. The parking lot is practically in the middle of the city, a city where paid parking is in effect almost everywhere. Non-campers pay the same rate for a day.

Rond de jaarwisseling twee nachtjes gestaan. De shuttlebusjes zijn fantastisch: ‘gratis’ vervoer naar het centrum en naar museum Naturalis. Er zijn verder geen voorziening, op ruime openbare toiletruimte met koffieautomaat na. Helaas bleek deze na 20.00 uur gesloten te zijn. Er zijn vijf camperplaatsen, maar bij aankomst bleken er ook een paar te zijn bezet door ‘niet campers’. 

We stayed for two nights around New Year's Eve. The shuttle buses are fantastic: "free" transportation to the city center and the Naturalis Museum. There are no other facilities, except for a spacious public restroom with a coffee machine. Unfortunately, it turned out to be closed after 8:00 PM. There are five campervan sites, but upon arrival, several were occupied by "non-campers."
