Groencentrum De Veense Bukker

Last weekend we stayed at the Veense Bukker again in our former hometown, Roelofarendsveen. It is a lovely spot, with a nice atmosphere and enthusiastic hosts. We enjoy staying here a few times a year to visit family and friends, but this time we also paddled straight into the beautiful Veense Polder from our spot. We love coming to this lovely place. You are right by the water, surrounded by ducks and moorhens. Alpacas in the meadow. Beautiful surroundings for cycling! Grocery stores around the corner. A nice, relaxed atmosphere. See you next time!

This could have been a nice camper site, but it just isn't quite there. The pitches are too small, so the awning can barely be extended. The sanitary facilities are substandard. It seems more like they are trying to create as many camper pitches as possible for extra income. It's a shame, because it is a nice location. As a result, the price-quality ratio is poor. It's fine for a one-night stopover while passing through.
